Advantageously located in the centre of the fruit growing region allows TSSL to start from the core production, and work outwards to meet and satisfy our customers’ requirements. This, coupled with full traceability and ideal growing conditions, ensures that we can sustain the highest standard of quality and safety throughout our product range.
Due to a perfect balance between sugar and acid content, our products offer a unique and novel taste, and our well-proven processing methods consistently retain the full Scottish flavour, colour and texture.
We are the only remaining specialist processing company in the soft fruit sector in Scotland, and when necessary, are able to offer a wide range of frozen products from locally grown fruit and carefully selected import partners.
We are full partners with the Scottish Crop Research Institute in the development of the new variety raspberry breeding programme, which also links to other soft fruit R & D initiatives. This puts our growers at the cutting edge of development with regard to variety and flavour, and enables us to offer our clients more options, and the ability to tailor supplies to our customers’ specific requirements.
Our own processing and handling is subject to full H.A.C.C.P analysis and procedures, and covers all grades of fruit, ensuring a completely pure fruit product.
